Introduction
The TimerHub Interval Timer is built for one job: keeping you moving through work and rest periods without touching your phone. Whether you're following Tabata, running a HIIT circuit, timing EMOM sets, or coaching a group class, it counts every round accurately, announces phase changes with a clear tone, and gives you a 3-2-1 audio cue before each interval ends so you're never caught off guard mid-rep.
How to Use
Pick a preset that matches your workout style, or enter your own work time, rest time, round count and prep countdown. Tap Start Workout and the timer takes over — counting down your prep window, then alternating work and rest until every round is complete. Use Pause if you need to stop mid-set, and Reset to return to setup and change your numbers. Tap the fullscreen icon to blow the display up for viewing across a gym floor or propping your phone against a water bottle.
Features
Work, rest, rounds and an optional prep countdown, fully customizable
One-tap presets for Tabata, HIIT, EMOM and strength circuits
Clear phase badge (Prepare / Work / Rest) with round tracking and a preview of what's next
A distinct 3-2-1 beep before every phase change, so you can keep your eyes off the screen
Drift-free timing that stays accurate even if your phone screen locks or the tab loses focus
Fullscreen focus mode with large, tap-friendly controls built for sweaty hands
Use Cases
HIIT circuits: alternate 30-45 seconds of work with matching rest across 6-10 rounds for a full-body conditioning session. Tabata: the classic 20-seconds-on, 10-seconds-off protocol for 8 rounds — brutal, short, effective. EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute): set work to 60 seconds and rest to 0, then fit your reps inside each minute before the next one starts. Boxing rounds: set work to 3 minutes and rest to 1 minute for standard round timing. Circuit training: string together stations with even work/rest splits. Yoga and mobility flows: use longer work windows with short transition breaks between poses.
Tips
Prop your phone in fullscreen mode where you can see it from your workout position — the phase badge color and large digits are readable from several meters away.
Use the prep countdown to get into position before the first work interval starts — 10 seconds is usually enough.
Set rest to 0 for EMOM-style training where the "rest" is simply whatever time is left in the minute.
Turn sound on before you start — the 3-2-1 cue is what lets you keep your head up during the last rep of a set.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. After your final work interval, the timer goes straight to the completion screen instead of starting one more rest period, since there's nothing left to rest before.
Yes. Set work to 60 seconds and rest to 0, and each round becomes a full one-minute work window with no separate rest phase — exactly how Every Minute on the Minute training is structured.
In the last three seconds of every phase — prepare, work or rest — you'll hear a short beep on each of the final three seconds, so you always know a change is about to happen without needing to look at the screen.
Yes. Pause holds the exact time remaining in the current phase, and resume picks up right where you left off — your round count and phase sequence are unaffected.
Yes. The countdown is based on real timestamps rather than a simple tick counter, so the displayed time is corrected for any delay when you come back to the tab — it won't drift.
Yes. Add ?work=30&rest=15&rounds=8 to the page URL (seconds for work and rest, a count for rounds) and those values will pre-fill the setup fields automatically — handy for sharing a routine or linking from a template.
